Trip to Earth Animation

A closer look at the project
Every project starts with an idea and gradually takes shape through exploration, experimentation, and refinement. This case study offers a closer look at that process — from the initial direction to the decisions that shaped the final result.
The starting point
The first step was understanding what the project needed to communicate and what kind of experience it should create. I explored the overall direction, considered the visual personality, and looked for ways to turn the initial idea into something clear and cohesive.
Rather than jumping straight into the final design, I focused on establishing a strong foundation that could guide the decisions that followed.
The challenge
One of the biggest parts of any design project is finding the right balance between creativity and purpose. Every element needs to contribute to the overall experience while still leaving enough room for personality.
The process involved exploring different possibilities, making adjustments, and deciding what worked best together. Some ideas evolved along the way, while others were simplified or removed to keep the final result focused.
The process
With the direction established, I began bringing the different pieces together. I explored layouts, typography, visual elements, composition, and details before refining the strongest ideas into a cohesive design.
The process was iterative, with each stage helping shape the next. Small adjustments often made the biggest difference, whether it was changing the balance of a layout, refining a visual element, or simplifying something that wasn't quite working.
The final result
The finished project brings all of these decisions together into one cohesive experience. The final design balances visual personality with clarity, creating something that feels intentional while staying true to the original idea.
Every part of the final result was considered as part of the bigger picture, from the overall direction down to the smaller details.
Looking back
This project was an opportunity to experiment, solve problems, and refine my approach to design. It also reinforced how much the small decisions matter when building something cohesive.
The final result is not just about where the project started or where it ended, but everything that happened in between — the exploration, adjustments, and little discoveries that helped shape the finished work.
